Ropes work by using the weight of the body in relation to gravity as a natural form of resistance, allowing a user-friendly augment to traditional yoga practice on the mat. It provides a release of tension from the joints and the ability to deeply stretch the entire muscular-skeletal body. Safely supported by the traction of the ropes, it allows for deeper strengthening and lengthening. Rope work has proven to be particularly beneficial for spine health by using traction to relieve pressure.

Offering a fresh perspective and invaluable tool for students who are experiencing general stiffness, muscle weakness or inability to perform certain poses independently, the Rope Wall allows the body to move beyond the range of its’ every day motion. This form of practice guides alignment and more overall ease of movement and it's great fun!

Restorative yoga involves holding a few poses for longer periods of time using props like bolsters and blankets to support the body. You'll be guided through deep breathing and mindfulness to bring you back to the present moment while surrounded by soft music, candle light and a peaceful atmosphere.
